Women are as human as Men, tells Lipstick Under my Burkha in a striking way !

After going through a great battle with the censor board, the film 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' finally got released in the theatres near you.
The film revolves around 4 ladies who are restricted by the society for doing the things they want to do. These 4 ladies represent "A daughter", "A wife", "A Bride" and "An Old Bhua ji". What i liked about the film was that it showcased all different situations that a woman can face under restrictions.

All 4 powerful ladies, Ratna pathak, Konkana sen, Plabita borthakur and Aahana Kumra performed pretty good as per the requirement of their roles. The best one however is the role of 'Bhua Ji' where it tells that an old woman is also a woman first and has sexual desires too. They should not be treated as "Ye koi umar hai ye sab karne ki" where the men are never questioned about sex even if they are old.
For some people who are planning to see the film as "Bhai Sex hoga isme", this is not for you then. The film will entertain you at regular intervals but the pornography lovers might get hurt from it.
Censor board however has shockingly kept a lot of scenes as it is in the film which is not a very common thing from them, so "Thanks a lot uncle" for not ruining the viewer experience of a film.

Coming to the most important and good thing i noticed in the film, It didn't add a fictional ending to the film. Instead, it just left the viewers with the reality of some women in India and showcased their desires of deserving the status of a "Human Being" as much as the men have in the country.

Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Prakash Jha, the film Lipstick Under My Burkha is a good choice to watch. Kudos!
