'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' a movie good for only those people who gets attached to the story and characters. Sentimental hearts will surely love Hamari Adhuri Kahani (Rest will surely hate). Vidya Balan is as usual the class of the film. Her acting can not be questioned by anyone. But the co-actors too performed so well that it became difficult to figure out who was the best among all.
Emraan Hashmi did a good job in the movie (although his acting remains same in all his movies).
Rajkumar Rao also performed brilliantly in the movie. It's just the actors and the music in the movie which made it look good. Else it was a very slow movie (even when the duration was around 2:05:00).
The story had many complications. Rajkumar Rao (Hari) is the husband of Vidya Balan (Vasudha) in the movie who leaves his wife and child and goes some where after the first year of their marriage. Vidya Balan is a florist who meets Emraan Hashmi, owner of many 5 star and 7 star hotels while she decorates his floor with flowers.
The story of Vidya relates to Emraan's mother's story which affects him and makes him fall for her. The twist comes in the movie when Rajkumar Rao returns in the story (It should not be revealed). Music is the main attractive element of the movie. The songs have already hit the chartbusters. The music of Hamari Adhuri Kahani gives an emotional touch to the movie.
Mahesh Bhatt always try to do something different now with his movies. (At times something bad)
The only best thing he did this time is that he made a movie which carries a 'U' certificate (Even with Emraan Hashmi in it). Another good thing was the casting of Rajkumar Rao and Vidya Balan (Nothing new in case of Emraan). This movie can be watched with the whole family.
Though it will gain popularity among teenagers only (Basically the lovers). You have to think a bit before spending on this movie.
